Welcome! My name is Sheri Miltenberger and I am a ski instructor and Learning Center manager at Blue Mountain Resort, in Pennsylvania. I am a member of the Professional Ski Association of America and have my Alpine Level 2, Adaptive Level 1, and Children's Specialist Level 1 certifications. Snowboarding is next, once I learn how to ride better! Winter 2016 was the winter that wasn't, and I didn't get out on my skis or board as much as I would have liked.
On this site, I'm hoping to do some interviews and have guest bloggers with articles about ski and snowboard related topics. If you have an idea that you'd like to share, please let me know in the contact me section. Thanks!
This is not my usual ski outfit, but I couldn't resist trying it on! I'll be ready if the one-piece makes a comeback!

My parents met skiing (read their story here) and are still going strong and I'm glad to be able to share the sport with my sons. Three generations are pictured here.
I am working on some writing projects and have a new website to highlight a novel for which I'm actively seeking representation. It's about 16-year old Amelia, who wants to be a ski instructor, but is held back because she needs to babysit her brothers, including her older one with autism. Hopefully I'll be announcing good news about it soon...
You can read the first chapter by clicking on the button below, if you'd like. You can also click on the other one which will bring you to some interviews I've done. Enjoy!
